Archetype:Before Creating your character you have to pick an Archetype for them.
House Mage: These are mages who already belong to a long standing family of mages. House mages are granted access to their Family Magic, allowing them to learn two different trees of magic. They also are granted access to their family crest if they are the heir to the house.
Lucky Star: These are folks who have been lucky enough to be granted magic circuits while being born to a mundane family. In a world where your lineage means everything these mages are at a severe disadvantage, but fortune favors the bold. Lucky Stars are born with a Luck Stat of A, before points are assigned. However because they have newly created Magic Circuits their mana is capped at C.
Solider of fortune: Usually these are members of a mage house born so far away from the line of succession that they'd never be in the running for having their house crest. So rather than focus on their families magic they sell their abilities to the highest bidder. Often to other mage houses. Soldiers of Fortune begin with a C-Rank in Combat, and 50,000 geld.
HouseIf for your Archetype you chose a House mage then feel free to join up with anyone of these lovely houses.
Houses!Field of MagicMagic is what mages do ya'll. Each player has free reign to learn as many spells as they like from a single field of Magic. Unless the mage has acess to house magic, or a house crest this is the only tree of magic that they'll be able to use, so choose carefully!
Magic, Magic Bill ya'llStatsYour mage starts with 10 stat points to put into whatever stat that you choose. Keeping in mind that all your stats start out at E-Rank.
